Master keyboard, controller and webcam input. Learn the meters that decide rounds. Train in the gym, climb the ladder, and finish fights with Boxer's Edge.
Every input mode feeds the same combat pipeline. Keyboard is precise. Gamepad is physical. Webcam turns real punches into ring strikes.

Drive the right hand forward past baseline → JAB. Speed and extension must clear the threshold.
Drive the left hand forward → HOOK. Same intent pipeline as keyboard / pad.
Both hands high → GUARD. Fast upward motion → UPPERCUT.
Stand framed in camera. Filtering and a punch lockout stop double triggers from jitter.
Raise sensitivity if punches feel late. Lower it if ambient motion fires false hits.
Webcam intents call the same punch / bag / fight systems as keyboard and controller.

Winning is not only landing punches. Manage stamina, guard, combo charge and Boxer's Edge while the clock runs.
Head and body share a health pool. Body hooks build liver damage. Enough body work forces knockdowns that need rapid get-up taps.
Every punch and held guard drains stamina. Empty tanks slow attacks and open you to counters. Idle and distance recover it.
Blocking chips the guard meter. When it breaks you are exposed. Parry with timed Z against an enemy Edge finisher.
Land hits inside the window to charge combo. X+S spends charge for a heavier multi-hit string. Overuse puts combo on cooldown.
Fill the Edge meter with landed punches. In close range, X+S (or A+X on pad) starts a dramatic finisher sequence with slow-mo and high damage.
On the canvas, mash punches before the count reaches ten. Later knockdowns demand more taps. Three knockdowns can end the night.
Protagonist Mode starts weak on purpose. Train, earn, upgrade, then climb. The ladder does not forgive early ego.
Gym sessions award XP and points. Raise strength, speed, endurance, accuracy, footwork, defence and head movement until your OVR can handle the first rung.
Use jabs to find range and build Edge charge safely. Commit power shots when the opponent is open or retreating to the ropes.
Hooks to the liver and solar plexus stack body damage. After enough clean body hooks, knockdowns become much more likely.
Chip a turtling opponent with pressure, then punish the guard break with uppercuts and crosses before they recover.
Boxer's Edge needs close range and a full meter. Save it for moments when the opponent is hurt or trapped — not on the first exchange.
Defeating ladder fighters pays money for permanent upgrades. Return to the gym between tough matchups. Progression is saved across sessions.
Basic finisher string: five jabs, one cross, then an overhand to close the cinematic sequence.
Accessibility sliders can ease detection thresholds, stamina drain and body damage for limited mobility play.
Lost a round? Reset posture, re-establish the jab, and force body work before hunting another Edge activation.
You've learned the system. Now meet the fighters waiting on the other side of the bell.

Open the gym, warm up on the bag, then take the ladder one opponent at a time. Controls stay consistent from training to title night.
